Hello World! We are Europe on Air!

Europe On Air? No, it’s not about flying, it’s about being on air. It’s about European students joined together in a sound studio in Cracow, Poland, broadcasting live via Internet.

From 10 to 17 of April 2010, international exchange programme takes its place. The main topic of the exchange is poverty and social exclusion and helping to deal with it by finding solutions through education and radio activity. Student from six countries: Spain, Italy, Turkey, Belgium, Romania and Poland, will learn the secrets of radio journalism during a week of workshops, finalized by live programme with the topic of social exclusion and poverty, broadcasted from a studio of students’ radio station Radio17.

Besides that, participants will educate each other, organizing national evenings, visiting magical places in Cracow and participating in different events.

Europe On Air is a project organized by young people from students’ radio station Radio17 to not only educate in a field of radio journalism, but also show, that this kind of young people activity can help to solve even global issues.
